Is Crochet Design Academy Right For Me?
Are there any prerequisites?
Before enrolling in Crochet Design Academy you should already know how to read and follow a crochet pattern efficiently.
You should be an advanced crocheter who is able to create crochet pieces from scratch without the use of a crochet pattern, or at least be able to veer from a crochet pattern to alter a crochet piece as desired.
You must also be artistically inclined, as that is not something that can be taught.
Who is CDA for?
I will be the first to admit that CDA is not right for everyone. The course curriculum was developed based on advanced techniques, and therefore attendees should be advanced crocheters in order to grasp the content. If you are not able to veer from crochet patterns or create crochet pieces without the use of a pattern, then CDA may be too advanced for you.
Attendees need to not only be artistically inclined, but also be able to have a firm grasp of the mathematical concepts required to create a crocheted item from scratch.
Students will also need to be self-motivated and disciplined, as you will be required to actually do the work in order to benefit from the program.
What will I be learning in CDA?
CDA focuses on teaching students how to design digital crochet patterns, and then how to build multiple streams of digital evergreen content off of those patterns.

Is this a physical product?
This is not a physical product, but rather an online digital program with options to download and print the items you wish to have a copy of at your own discretion. Since the pre-recorded lessons will be delivered via ThriveCart Learn , you will need to have either a smartphone or a computer with the internet to access all course material.
Any live meetings will also be held via Zoom, so you will need to have access to the most updated version of Zoom as well. All meetings will be recorded live and uploaded to the course portal for replay within 24-48 hours for those who are unable to attend live when group meetings have taken place.
Can I get a physical copy?
At this time our course is only available in digital PDF and video format. You can print the entire bundle and have it bound at your local office supply store, or you can print it to keep in a 3-ring binder if you’d like. You could also realistically download the content in your digital files on your computer to access later.
How soon after purchase will I receive my product?

How does the course work?
This is a self-study course, with pre-recorded 40-minute lessons, as well as the availaibility to meet 1:1 via Zoom if desired. You will receive an email update every Friday with what's new in the course portal and any upcoming events. The course content will be dripped to you as you complete each section, to help you stay focused on one subject at a time without getting overwhelmed.

How much time should I dedicate to the course content? I am already so busy.
Because it’s self-paced, you really can determine that yourself. However, I do recommend that you spend at least 3 hours every week on the course content. If you wish to see the results I’m promising, you will not be able to put it off.
The beauty of pre-recorded lessons is that you could realistically listen to the lessons while you clean your house or while you are running errands, instead of trying to meet up for live lessons, which is one of the main reasons the lessons are pre-recorded.
